Who can peer

We welcome IPv6 peering with networks that operate a public ASN and maintain current contact and routing information. BGP sessions are supported only through a mutually arranged tunnel or at a public peering exchange point listed for AS218822 on PeeringDB.

  • A current PeeringDB profile
  • Valid route and origin objects in a public IRR
  • A tunnel or listed public peering exchange point
  • An operational NOC contact
/02

What we exchange

Sessions use IPv6 unicast. We announce AS218822 and customer routes published under our routing objects.

  • AS-SET: RIPE::AS218822:AS-PMHONLY
  • ROUTE-SET: RIPE::AS218822:RS-PREFIXES
  • Primary aggregate: 2a06:9801:ff0::/44
  • No IPv4 routes
/03

How we filter

Routing policy is generated from public registry data. Incorrect or unsafe announcements are rejected at the edge.

  • IRR prefix and origin validation
  • RPKI route origin validation
  • Default and martian route rejection
  • Session-specific maximum-prefix limits

Operating terms

AS218822 is a personal research network. Peering is provided on a best-effort basis and may change as the network evolves.

  • No minimum traffic volume or ratio
  • No contract required
  • No uptime or latency SLA
  • Either network may end a session at any time
